AIM Igorot Lodge

If you want a quaint, old Baguio experience, check in at the Igorot Lodge. We're recommending the place because it's inside the lovely Camp John Hay, surrounded by pine trees with a golf course for a view! The lodge is a minute walk away from two famous hangout joints: Cantinetta and Starbucks!





There's cable TV, a mini-bar and fridge in each room! It's relatively cheap.

We recommend the Igorot Lodge for:
-Couples who want to spend some quality time together
-Those who love Starbucks
-Those of you who will be bringing your own transportation to the wedding. The place is not accessible to public transport.

Kharlo and Lot's Wedding

Kharlo and Lot, I'd say, they've been through tons. But they've pulled through. Congrats you guys. :)

Cathy and Noel's Wedding

I guess 2010 is a good year. A lot of our good friends are getting married, too. Take for example my St. Paul Pasig troupe, four of us are getting hitched this year (Cathy, Cey and Gayo). Maybe it's because we're coming into our big 3-0. Or maybe it's just well, a good year.

The first wedding is Cathy's who got married last Feb 12 to Noel, who's such a great guy by the way. :)

Wedding was at Santuario de San Antonio over at Forbes. Dinner over at the Manila Peninsula. Cathy made me do the first reading.

Oh the wedding was just lovely! I have to say that the food was simply superb. I ended up hoarding the salmon sashimi with best friend, Asto. Hahaha. And of course, the program was very memorable. A lot of tear-jerking moments there. Then we capped off the evening with some happy dancing!

Cheers to Noel and Cathy Castro! For a very happy voyage ahead! :)

Deciding on THE Dress

Cor Sunglao, one of my dearest friends who's been with me since I was 13, has become one helluva talented designer. So when it came to deciding who'll be making THE dress, it was really a no-brainer.

A few days ago, we headed over to Atelier de Cor for a fashion brainstorm.






With fascinators on our heads, we were able to get down to business - decide on colors and the kinds of material that we'll be using. Oh God, I never knew that there were too many kinds of white. It was confusing! I thought it was going to be easy. Hah! That was a wrong thought.





Thank heavens Cor was there. And she was super kind enough to walk me through the whole color/cloth decision making process.



What a happy thought: That on my wedding, I'll be wearing a Cor Sunglao.
